Analytics Lab provides a unique meeting point for engineers, social scientists, and data scientists to brainstorm and develop algorithms to extract useful insights from large amount of raw data. We also provide hands-on training to the students, entrepreneurs, and innovators on application of various analytical tools and techniques for business decision-making.The Lab mainly houses necessary hardware platforms and software tools for the following domains of research in data analytics:

  • An experimental setup for big data analytics platform primarily using open source technologies such as MongoDB, Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS), Hive, Spark

Bio-Research Lab

The Bio-Research Laboratory was established at the school aimed to conduct excellent level of research and product development in the frontier areas of agriculture, biotechnology, nanotechnology, tissue engineering and allied sciences. Currently, the lab in involved in the development of nanomaterial based bio-implants, novel herbal drug formulations and delivery systems for chronic diseases and plant-based bio-pesticide development. The lab is enthusiastically committed to provide facilities to promote young entrepreneurs and facilitates industrial growth. The lab is also working in collaborations with other renowned institutions and laboratories and believes to ensure an organized and maintained facilities and equipment to provide maximal utilization by other researchers and institutions across the country.

Advanced Biological Research Microscope

Purpose:
 
  • Extraction, purification and identification of bioactive compounds from economically important plant species.
  • Development of novel herbal formulations for chronic diseases from indigenous and locally available plant species and study of its efficacy, safety and toxicity.
  • Development of herbal bio-pesticide formulations from indigenous and locally available plant species and its efficacy study on various agricultural pests.
  • Histopathological study of tissues for bio-implants and tissue engineering.

Energy lab

The Energy Lab at the Rajendra Mishra School of Engineering Entrepreneurship, is built to focus on creative answers to today’s energy challenges. From fundamental science and energy analysis to validating new products for the commercial market, the lab would help in developing renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies and practices, advances related to science and engineering, smart grid and transfer of knowledge and innovations to address the nation’s energy and environmental goals.

Energy Lab has procured the important instruments like Cyclic Voltammeter, Drying Oven, Muffle Furnace, and Tabular Furnace. This will help in the research of new materials for energy storage.

Innovation Lab

This is where innovations are born. The innovation lab at RMSoEE aims to produce entrepreneurially oriented competent individuals. Each student of RMSoEE is attached to an innovation laboratory during their learning journey at IIT.

Product Analytic and Modelling Laboratory (PAM Lab)at the Rajendra Mishra School of Engineering Entrepreneurshipis set up to facilitate designing and prototypingof innovative transdisciplinaryproducts, which is central to engineering entrepreneurship. The lab, through its product engineering capabilities, would help in developing technology,creating improved and value added quality products and transfer of technology,posing major technical challenge in the current competitive milieuand also a declared national priority.
