Brief Profile

A Doctorate in Economics from IIT-KGP, Prabha Bhola has taught in illustrious institutes such as IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and University of Hyderabad prior joining IIT Kharagpur. Author of a book entitled “Rural Poverty and its Determining Factors: An Empirical Analysis of Districts in Uttar Pradesh, India”, Dr. Bhola has also been a frequent author of other edited publications. Presently, she is teaching at the Rajendra Mishra School of Engineering Entrepreneurship at IIT-KGP.

Research Interests

Her research interests include modeling Performance measurement and growth modes of SMEs, Business analytics and Technology forecasting and innovation diffusion models. She is interested in developing models/ practices for enhanced productivity and economic sustainability of enterprises/ start-ups in emerging context.
