RMSoEE has been involved in the following activities with Germany.

  1. A micro-credit course (12 academic hours lecture + 5 academic hours Assignment)has been conducted on “Innovation Generation, Disruption and Exponential Technologies in Medical Technologies” by Prof. Michael Friebe, PhD. He is a research fellow of Technological University Munich, Munich, Germany and a Professor of Image Guided Therapies at Otto-von-Guericke-University in Magdeburg, Germany. Read More
  1. Manojit Ray (Roll No. 15RJ92R01), a research scholar, working under Prof. Basab Chakraborty has been accorded the prestigious RISE Worldwide Research Host for the year 2017-18 by The RISE Worldwide, DAAD, Germany. Selection is based on a global competition with most awardees located in top Universities and Research Centers of Developed Countries. A German Scholar would soon be joining Manojit for research on ‘Cryptocurrency Anchored Distributed Energy Transaction Platform’.
  1. We are in the process of establishing research collaborations with German Universities. We had discussion with Prof. Amitava Gupta, Jadavpur University (Power Engineering), DAAD Research Ambassador 2018 at Kolkata and Ms Susmita Mandal at German Consulate, Kolkata. Prof. Amitava Gupta has given some inputs to identify suitable counterparts at German universities. We are pursuing possible research collaborations in the area of healthcare, renewable energy and smart grids, automobiles, thermal energy managment.
